An Interview with Phil the Forecaster Chadwick

Liana Voia from Paris, France reached out for an interview with a plein air artist. The connection came like lightning out of the blue with some guidance from the International Plein Air Painters. This is what Liana put together from our candid conversation. It is intended to be an honest observation of art, science and the natural world that we need to protect. Art is a way of life and one must live that with integrity and lots of humour too.

Keep you paddle in the water and warmest regards,

Phil the Forecaster Chadwick

Just discovered you blog Phil - a great listen! Always interesting to hear other artists talk about their viewpoint/approach/personal philosophy. Oh...we have quite a bit of my Grandfather's (Mother's Dad) horse radish. In fact the plant has kind of gone rogue on us! My wife is the HR connoisseur...(maybe you could share a recipe?!).

But getting off track! Enjoyed hearing remarks about the Group of Seven and Tom Thompson - and enjoy your work as always!

I had forgotten about this interview Bruce.. Thank you! We had a tremendous patch of horse radish at Watershed Farm. I supplied all of the neighbours too. We had to sell the farm and I went back to get a few roots but the new owners had already sprayed the perennial garden with Round-Up! Oh my. Your comments always bring a smile to my face Bruce. Thank you!
